Mobile Marketing: The new point-of-sale

By Chris Tomlinson on Apr 9, 10 12:28 PM in Creative industries

silver-surfers.jpgMobile marketing will become the new point-of-sale for retailers as consumers take their phone shopping.

Everything online will become a "location-based service" with users not just wanting the best matching results to their searches, but "nearby results" too.

Its nice to see that you have identified this as a growing area in your blog.

Mobile is the way forward but retailers will have to be savvy about their approach in this space - users can be fickle and unforgiving.

I hope to help businesses in the region through my services - for the record, I was nominated by 02 last year for the concept of what i do.

However, even im seeing that on a daily basis, businesses need to walk in the shoes of their customers to really know what they want, in order to maximise the benefits of mobile marketing.
